Job Hunting Help
Monthly workshops begin Jan. 9 at Tumwater Timberland Library

Tumwater Timberland Library staff will give a job hunting workshop on the second Saturday of each month from January 9 through June 12 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in the library’s meeting room. The workshop will cover a range of topics:

• Job search resources in the library, both print and on the Internet, and resources in the local area,
• Online job searching,
• How to complete an online application, especially what to expect on forms and what information to have on hand,
• Basic job searching elements and strategies such as resumes interviews and time management.

Workshop attendees will be provided with handouts, including a printout of the slide presentation that will be part of the program. Tables will be set up to assist in note taking.
