First annual Olympia Book & Author Fair
Two-days of literary delight for book lovers

This is your chance to meet, talk with, and purchase books from any of 36 local authors, all under one roof. From novels to how-to's, from Oxford University Press to self-published titles, the fair will host a diverse assemblage of writers. The Olympia Book & Author Fair will be held at the Olympia Timberland Library on Friday evening, April 17, 5 to 9 p.m. and all day Saturday, April 18, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“The librarians and I hope to make this an annual event,” said author Wilfried Lippmann, who initiated the idea of the book fair and signed up the majority of the participating authors. “We hope it becomes so popular, the authors contact us. We are doing this for the authors and because it provides an opportunity for people to come from all over to this wonderful library,” said Lippmann.

Mr. Lippmann has published seven fiction and nonfiction books and won several awards for his novels. He lives with his wife in Olympia.
