Alan Richrod to discuss Biofuels Saturday at Tumwater library

Alan Richrod of Grays Harbor will examine renewable alternative fuels such as alcohol and biodiesel at the Tumwater Timberland Library on Saturday, April 12 from 1:30 to 3 p.m.

The discussion will include types of biofuels, how they are made, how they are used and even how people in the audience can make some of them. He will also explain the challenges and what people can do about them.

After 13 years as a production and research-and-development machinist, Richrod is currently a technical researcher and writer. His research into alternative fuels spans 30 years.
