Shelton Timberland Library to add open hour to Friday afternoons

New schedule begins February 1

In response to public demand, the Shelton Timberland Library (William G. Reed Library) will be open an additional hour on Friday afternoons. The library will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (instead of 5 p.m.) effective Friday, February 1.

Library users have expressed the need for the library to stay open later on Fridays so they can pick up library books, movies and music for the weekend or finish a project. The library has reorganized employee schedules so there will be no extra cost for staffing the additional hour each week.

For more information, please call the Shelton library at 426-1362.
