Live! One night only:  Mystery night at the library—"The Final Cut"

Director Eddie Cheek is looking for backers for his new movie, so he’s throwing this gala shindig for interested parties—like you—you can’t lose. It’s a killer deal. Or a deadly one. You decide. The place?—the Raymond Timberland Library. Help solve a mystery that will be presented in a live performance of "Mystery Night at the Library: The Final Cut." The event will be held Saturday, February 23 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Tickets are $10.00 per adult, $15.00 per couple, and include dessert while mingling with the cast, the play and a silent auction. The event is a fundraiser of the Friends of the Raymond Timberland Library, expressly for a fund designated for painting the library’s exterior. The cost estimate for the project is $30,000 to$40,000.

The Neo-Tudor style library opened on July 26, 1929. Fifty years later, the building was entered in the National Register of Historic Places. As stated on the historical plaque, "…this property possesses exceptional value in illustrating American history and culture."

A few of the many auction items, all donated, that people will take home:

Some of the suspects:

Eddie Cheek: A director (and a legend in his own mind).

Cherri Pitt: She has the female lead in Eddie’s picture. Never mind how she got it, she has it. For now.

Nova Devoe: She wants the lead—and she always gets what she wants.

Rock Stud: The male lead. He hasn’t had much work since his television series, Sky Fling, Pilot PI, so this job is a welcome one. He and Cherri are a hot item.
