Jim Phipps to lecture on global warming
Dr. Jim Phipps, Professor Emeritus of Grays Harbor College, will explore the clues to global climate change as seen in temperature changes, sea level rise, and atmospheric gas concentrations and how these changes affect the local area. The presentation for adults and teens will be held at 2 p.m. this Sunday, January 27 at the Aberdeen Timberland Library.
The first of the library’s annual Winter Lecture Series for 2008, this program is sponsored by the Friends of the Aberdeen Timberland Library.
