Expand your Universe with Library’s Adult Winter Reading Program
As
you read your way from winter to spring, Timberland Regional Library will be
your navigator with its eleventh annual Adult Winter Reading Program, January 2
through March 31. The program theme this year is "Expand Your Universe,"
inviting you to launch into new fiction genres and nonfiction subjects and to
boldly read what you’ve never read before. As always, the program offers chances
to win stellar prizes including mini-getaway vacations, print and audio books
and many other prizes.
To participate, pick up brochure/entry forms and prize lists at any of the 27 Timberland libraries in Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Pacific and Thurston counties. Read or listen to five or more books during the contest period, complete an entry form for each five and return forms to a Timberland library by March 31.
"The more you read, the more you know—and the better your chances to win a prize," said Tim Mallory, the library district’s Adult Services Coordinator. "What to read? Library staff can make recommendations and point the way to booklists, online resources and tips on choosing great reads in areas new to you."
