Friends of the Winlock Library benefit silent auction to begin Nov. 6

The Winlock Timberland Library announces its first annual Friends of the Library Artisan Silent Auction featuring items handcrafted by local artisans. The items will be available for purchase through silent auction bids. Bidding begins Tuesday, November 6 at noon and closes Wednesday, November 21 at 2 p.m. All proceeds support programs of the Winlock library. The library can accept donations of handcrafted items through November 6.

Bidders will find treasures for all ages. Winlock residents Barbara and Joe Lewis built, decorated and furnished a dollhouse for the auction. Other items include art tiles for kitchen or bath, original paintings, a variety of decorator textile pieces and quilts to warm a variety of beds from a doll’s to full-size.
