Keep memories alive with "Remembering Aloud" series at Raymond library

Older adults are invited to bring family members, join friends and neighbors and reminisce. Share your stories during a series of programs called "Remembering Aloud" at the Raymond Timberland Library and give your experiences new life.

Raymond librarian Emily Popovich will lead sessions from 6 to 8 p.m. on the Tuesdays listed below. The gatherings are designed to jog memories and elicit stories around topics such as "The Home Front" and "The Family Doctor." Memory ticklers including recordings, photographs, objects and videos will be on hand to start the conversational ball rolling.

The schedule to date:

Nov. 27: The Home Front

Dec. 11: The Family Doctor and Cure-alls
