her books of poetry at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 28 at the Lacey Timberland

In her latest book, Perillo probes her experience of the shift from her independent, physically active life to one progressively limited by multiple sclerosis. The writing is intense, keenly articulated and often wryly humorous.
Perillo has also written four books of poetry that have received numerous awards and was a recipient of a MacArthur Fellowship in 2000. She has taught at universities across the nation.
