Sunday hours resume at six Timberland libraries

Fall hours resume at Hawks Prairie library kiosk

The Aberdeen, Centralia, Shelton, Lacey, Olympia and Yelm Timberland libraries will resume Sunday hours for the school year. The libraries will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sundays from October 7, 2007 through May 18, 2008 (except on holidays that fall on Sunday).

The Ocean Park and Packwood Timberland libraries are open on Sundays year-round, except holidays. The other 19 branches of the Timberland Regional Library District (TRL) are always closed on Sundays.  (See all locations and hours.)

Fall hours for access to the TRL computer kiosk located in Lacey at the Hawks Prairie Center of the South Puget Sound Community College will begin on Monday, September 24. Hours will be 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, except holidays.

Many library and information services are available to people in the Timberland library system’s service area—Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, and Thurston counties—by visiting the TRL website at www.trlib.org or calling the TRL Central Reference Service librarians at 704-4636 in the Olympia area, or 1-800-562-6022 in all other areas.

Timberland Regional Library serves the information, reading and lifelong learning needs of the Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, and Thurston county public at 27 community libraries and 5 cooperative library centers. The library system is funded by local property taxes. Anyone needing special accommodations to participate in a library program should contact the library a week in advance.
