For people learning English:
New "Talk Time" series begins October 4 at Aberdeen library
The Aberdeen Timberland Library will host four programs for people of all ages who are learning to speak English. Sessions will be on Thursdays beginning October 4 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The free programs, called Talk Time, are informal gatherings held each fall and spring in the library meeting room. Participants gain practical information on varied topics and also practice their English language skills. A variety of related activities are provided for children who attend.
- Learn how to find library books using the Dewey Decimal System.Dates and Topics:
October 4
October 11 - Learn how to fill out the Patient Packet for health services at Sea Mar.
October 18 - Learn how to compare prices, read labels, and make change.
October 25 - Talk about foods used in your culture and bring some if you wish.

The library offers Talk Time in partnership with Grays Harbor College. The program is supported by a grant from the Rayonier Foundation.
