The Aberdeen Timberland Library will host four programs for people of all ages who are learning to speak English. Sessions will be on Thursdays beginning April 19 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The free programs, called Talk Time, are informal gatherings held each season in the library meeting room. Participants hear information on practical topics and also practice their conversation skills. A variety of related activities will be available for children who attend.

April 19 - Learn how to use the library’s print and online resources to look for a job.

April 26 - A WorkSource representative will explain how to fill out job applications.

May 3 - Practice being interviewed.

May 10 - Express Personnel will talk about job skills for work placement.

The library offers Talk Time in partnership with Grays Harbor College. The program is supported by a grant from the Rayonier Foundation.
