Financial literacy classes for young adults to be held at Timberland libraries
Four Thurston County Timberland libraries are helping to develop the financial literacy of young adults by holding classes on smart money management. Beginning Thursday, September 21, experts from the Washington State Employees Credit Union (WSECU) will present an easy-to-use program designed for teens and young adults to age 24. The classes are free. They cover credit, budgeting, money management, and saving and investing. Participants can join in one or all of the sessions. The schedule, locations and topics follow:
