Daniel Perez presentará leyes de immigración básica

Legal Advocate to discuss basic immigration law at Shelton library

Daniel Perez, consejero legal con el Northwest Immigration Rights Project presentará Leyes de immigración básica, 1:30-3 p.m., 5 de febrero en la biblioteca, Shelton Timberland Library (William G. Reed Public Library). Este programa en español proveerá una introducción al proceso de visas de immigración para familias. Asilo, estatuto de refugiado, exoneraciones, visas T y U, SIJ opciones, conociendo sus derechos, y otros tópicos similares serán tratados. Seguirá un periodo de preguntas y respuestas después de la presentación. Por razones de privacidad casos individuales no serán discutidos.

Daniel Perez, a legal advocate with the Northwest Immigration Rights Project will present Basic Immigration Law from 1:30 to 3 p.m. February 5 at the Shelton Timberland Library (William G. Reed Library) .This program will be in Spanish. It will provide a basic overview of the Immigration Family Visa process. Asylum, refugee status, waivers, T and U Visas, SIJ options, knowing your rights, and similar immigration topics will also be covered. A question and answer session will follow. For privacy reasons individual cases will not be discussed but referrals may be offered.

Timberland Regional Library serves the information, reading and lifelong learning needs of the Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, and Thurston county public at 27 community libraries and 5 cooperative library centers. The library system is funded by local property taxes.
