Kiosk provides Timberland Library services at Hawks Prairie Center
Grand Opening Celebration & Library Card Signup to be held October 3

Some public library services are now available in Hawks Prairie at a Timberland Regional Library kiosk located at the South Puget Sound Community College’s Hawks Prairie Center. The kiosk has been in operation at the center since May and will be presented to the public in a grand opening celebration on Tuesday, October 3 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The center is located at 1401 Marvin Rd. NE, Suite 201, Lacey, in the Hawks Prairie Village Mall.

The kiosk is a partnership of the public library system and the college. Equipped with two computer stations, the kiosk provides information services and a convenient new location for people to pick up and drop off Timberland library books, movies, CDs and other library materials.

"Timberland is delighted to be providing public library services closer to people who live and work in the Hawks Prairie and east Lacey areas, and to the students attending the college’s Hawks Prairie Center," said Timberland Regional Library Director, Jodi Reng.

"I'm pleased the college has partnered with Timberland Regional Library to provide students and the community access to Timberland's resources in a convenient location," said Dr. Gerald Pumphrey, President of South Puget Sound Community College.
