CANCELLED: Tonight’s public meeting on a new Chehalis library
- A meeting in Chehalis will be rescheduled.
- The December 5, 6 p.m. meeting in Adna is still on.
- A new form for public input will be on the TRL Web site at www.trlib.org
A meeting planned for tonight, November 28, 6-7:30 p.m. for public input on a new library to be built in Chehalis is cancelled due to the icy roads. The meeting will be rescheduled.
Opportunities for public comment
The City of Chehalis and Timberland Regional Library are seeking public input on a new facility to be built on the site of the current Chehalis Timberland Library.
By Wednesday, November 29, an electronic form will be available on the Timberland Regional Library Web site at www.trlib.org for people to submit ideas on the new library’s design, programs, services, collections, art and other thoughts on what they would like to see in a new library. The form will also be in paper format at the library when it reopens.
People can also email their ideas to comments@trlib.org.
Architects and City and Library officials will meet with the public on Tuesday, December 5, 6-7:30 p.m. at the Adna High School Library; 121 Adna School Road.
Timberland Regional Library serves the information, reading and lifelong learning needs of the Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, and Thurston county public at 27 community libraries and 7 library service partner locations. The library system is funded by local property taxes. Anyone needing special accommodations to participate in a library’s program may contact the library a week in advance.
