Aberdeen library presents a pair of literary treats
Enjoy local poets’ works at Poetry Potpourri
Grays Harbor poets are invited to share their poetry with the public at a "Poetry Potpourri" from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, January 29. Poets should sign up in advance at the library or by calling (360) 533-2360. The number of poets who register will determine the time allotted to each participant. This program is for adults and youth age 10 and up.
Refreshments will be provided. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Aberdeen Timberland Library and will be held in the Rosalie N. Spellman Meeting Room.
Meet local author Michael Bergey
Michael Bergey, author of the novel, New Coyote, and Central Park veterinarian, will talk about his book from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, February 11 at the Aberdeen Timberland Library. Combining adventure and fantasy, the novel is a modern-day telling of a Native American spirit legend, narrated by the main character, Coyote. Dr. Bergey will also talk about his writing process and will sign copies of his book. Books will be available for purchase.
