Six Timberland Regional Library (TRL) branches are set to resume Sunday afternoon hours for the school year. The Aberdeen, Centralia, Shelton, Lacey, Olympia and Yelm Timberland libraries will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sundays from October 2, 2005 through May 28, 2006 (except on holidays that fall on Sunday). The Ocean Park and Packwood Timberland libraries are open Sundays all year, except holidays. The other 18 Timberland libraries are always closed on Sundays.

People in Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, and Thurston counties can telephone TRL’s Central Reference librarians seven days a week. Fun fact: In 2001, the first year the TRL central reference (CR) service was available to the general public, CR librarians answered 32,000 questions; in 2004 they answered 50,500.
