New Medicare Rx plan choices explained at Lacey Library
Advocates trained by the State Office of the Insurance Commissioner will lead workshops on the new Medicare prescription drug program for seniors at the Lacey Timberland Library. The workshops will be held on November 29 and December 6, from 8:30 to 10 a.m. To get the most from the presentations, advocates June Moore and Marika Bertolini advise seniors to bring their current prescription information including actual costs of drugs per month (the full cost before insurance). Participants may also bring any related letters and notices they would like explained. While the presenter explains the plans, participants can work through Medicare’s online information at the library’s computers.
For more information, please contact the library’s reference desk at 491-3860.
