Celebrate, Participate in Democracy at North Mason Timberland Library

The North Mason Timberland Library presents Make Democracy Work: VOTE! as part of The September Project, a nationwide celebration of democracy and informed participation. On Saturday September 11, drop by the library from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to register to vote with the League of Women Voters of Mason County and pick up valuable information on voting in the elections.

Special guest, Mason County Auditor Allan T. Brotche, will be at the library from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to answer questions about the new Primary Election Ballot.

Make Democracy Work: VOTE! is being cosponsored by the Friends of the North Mason Timberland Library. For more information about the program, please call the library at (360) 275-3232. The library is located at 23081 NE State Route 3, Belfair. Web site: www.trlib.org.

The September Project (Web site www.theseptemberproject.org) is a collection of people, groups, and organizations working to create a day of engagement, conversation and democracy. Libraries throughout Washington and the rest of the nation are participating.

Timberland Regional Library serves the information, reading and lifelong education needs of the Grays Harbor, Lewis, Mason, Pacific, and Thurston county public at 27 community libraries and 4 school-based cooperative library centers. The library system is funded by local property taxes.
