Seattle Pacific University history professor, Dr. William Woodward, talks about baseball as a window on our nation in his presentation, "Baseball in America: A Cultural Epic of Biblical Proportions," at 7 p.m. Thursday October 9 at the Tumwater Timberland Library, 7023 New Market Street, Tumwater. The often-humorous talk will trace the history of America’s national pastime—and thus America—through six eras.
