Timberland Regional Library Welcomes Director
The Timberland Regional Library Board of Trustees will host public open houses in Grays Harbor, Mason and Pacific counties to welcome new Director Jodi Reng.
The open houses will be:
Wednesday, December 3 from 2-4 p.m. at the Aberdeen Timberland Library, 121 E Market St.
Thursday, December 4 from 2-4 p.m. at the Shelton Timberland Library, 710 W. Alder.
Friday, December 5 from 11a.m. to noon at the South Bend Timberland Library 1st and Pacific.
Friday, December 5 from 2-4 p.m. at the Ilwaco Timberland Library 158 1st Ave N.
Ms. Reng began work on November 3. She most recently served as the Director of the Plum Creek Library System in southwestern Minnesota, a regional system of 26 libraries in nine counties. She has 18 years of library experience—16 in public libraries (13 as director in multi-branch library systems) and two in a school library. Her prior library positions were all located in Washington State. She holds a Masters in Library Science from the University of Washington and certificates in teaching and school media from Eastern Washington University.
