The Rainier Ringers handbell choir will ring in the season with a winter holiday concert at 7 p.m., Saturday, December 13 at the North Mason Timberland Library, located at 23081 NE State Rt. 3 in Belfair. The performance will be in the library rather than the library meeting room in order to provide plenty of space for a large audience. The concert is intended for all ages and is free of charge.

The mission of the handbell ensemble is to perform exciting and challenging music to both entertain and educate audiences. Rainier Ringers is a Tacoma-area choir directed by Lois McMonnies of Gig Harbor. Members hail from Federal Way and points south to Chehalis and west to Key Peninsula. They include ringers and directors from various church handbell choirs who gather to perform a broader repertoire than is possible in sacred settings.
