Book Reviewer Nancy Pearl Talks Books at Lacey Timberland Library
Nancy Pearl, director of the Washington Center for the Book in Seattle, will talk about her favorite new books for adults at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 24 at the Lacey Timberland Library, 500 College Street SE. Pearl’s recommendations for both fiction and nonfiction are bound to surprise, entertain, and delight those who are ever seeking the next great read.
Pearl, known among many librarians as the "book talk maestro," is featured weekly on The Beat on radio station KUOW 94.9. Her mission is to promote and celebrate the written word, to develop a ‘community of the book’ throughout the state of Washington.
