IT’S ALIVE! @ your library

Teen Read Week, October 17 - 23, 2004

IT CREEPED ME OUT!  IT WAS SO SCARY!

If you like to be freaked out by what you’re reading, you’ll find plenty of freakout books at your library. Some books go the suspense and horror route. Some dig into the suspense and horror of everyday life -- teens get creeped out by ghouls at school, friends who make a mockery of friendship, criminals, and bizarre and unexplained events.

Look for the IT’S ALIVE! @ your library display at your Timberland library, and talk with your library staff about the creepy, scary books you like to read.

Pick up a Creepiest, Scariest Books Ever! Form at the library so you can tell other teens about a book that freaked you out or submit a form online. And if you don’t see enough scary books at the library, please tell the staff so they can get more!

Creepiest, Scariest Books Ever!
What’s the creepiest, scariest book you ever read? Think other teens might enjoy it? Tell other teens about the book that freaked you out. Watch for Creepiest, Scariest Books Ever bookmarks at your library in November.
