The Bermudez Triangle

Maureen Johnson

Review:

As a teenager who just figured out that she was bisexual, this book was perfect. It was funny were it should have been, and was serious in the parts it needed to be. I loved it!

The Beatles a diary : an intimate day by day history

Review:

This is probably the best Beatle book out there! It has a LOT of pics of the boys, and a ton of stories. If you like (or love) The Beatles, then you should really get this book!

Great Expectations

Author:

Charles Dickens

Review:

Great Expectations tells the story of Pip, an orphaned boy who lives with his sister and brother-in-law, Joe, the blacksmith. In his early years he is happy in his home, despite his sister's anger, and looks forward to the time when he shall become apprenticed to Joe. But when he grows older, he is summoned by Miss Havisham to her manor house. He is tormented by the beautiful and cruel Estella, with whom he falls in love. Estella's stinging words towards Pip soon make him ashamed of his poor family and his ignorance, and he passes years in discontent, until, one day, he is informed that he has come into possession of "great expectations." He is to move to London, and always to keep the name of Pip, and someday, his benefactor will reveal him/herself... This is an amazing book. The plot is gripping, and it's great fun to watch the puzzle pieces come together in the end. The style is not so hard to understand as one might fear, and Dickens has a wonderful, dry sense of humor that makes the book a delight to read.

The songs are really hard to sing and the group's from Canada. They should include Santana on all their albums.

Review:

This book was very moving, and takes place in Germany during the Holocaust. It's a very well-written story. I definitely recommend this for any teen wanting to read a more challenging novel.

Mother Please Don't Die

Author:

Lurlene McDaniel

Review:

I could really relate to this book because my aunt had recently passed away. She was a mother to me and in this book, it shows the bond between mother and daughter. And it reminds me of memories that I forgot about a long time ago.
