Families with children under 3 who have a concern about their child's development can call for a free developmental screening.  An infant or toddler qualified for early intervention services if there is an identified developmental delay in language, gross/fine motor, cognitive, social/emotional, vision and/or hearing impairment.  Family Resources Coordinators will assist families with identifying concerns, coordinating evaluations, connecting with services and resources.

Resources and equipment for parents of disabled or special needs children
P.S. Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group P.S. is a regional organization established to priovde support for those who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, or newborn death.  Services are available in Olympia.  They include a monthly peer support group, one-on-one contact with parents who have gone through a similar loss, an annual service in memory of lost babies, and a lending library. 

The support group meets the second Thursday of each month at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
