Title: Al Capone Does My Shirts
Author: Gennifer Choldenko
Review:
You are twelve years old, and just like any other kid. Except you live in the same neighborhood as America's Most Wanted! Moose Flannagan has moved to the biggest prison in America: Alcatraz! It's the time of Al Capone and nothing can get any better for him. His sister has some mysterious diagnoses (now known as Autism) and needs to end a special "school". Moose and the other guard's kids like him get into some trouble along the way. Will Natalie Flannagan ever get into her school? Will Moose ever get to meet Al Capone? Will the warden kick the Flannagan's off of the island? Only you can find out when you read about the adventure the family takes. You will have such a nag for history after reading about the one and only Alcatraz!

Title: Banner in the Sky
Author: James Ramsey Ullman
Review:
I love "Banner in the Sky". The detail is so incredible that you feel like you are climbing up the Citadel with Rudi and the climbers. If you love to get active and feel a part of a story, "Banner in the Sky" would be a great book for you to read.

Title: The BFG
Author: Roald Dahl
Review:
I liked this book. The BFG stands for the Big Friendly Giant. The BFG never went to school which meant that he couldn't speak, write, or read well. My favorite part of the book is when Sophie, a little girl, and the BFG travel to England to meet Queen Elizabeth. They told Q.E that there was a Giant Country. They also said that the giants went out at night to eat children. The BFG was a vegetarian. At the end, the army and the navy captured the giants and the children of the world were saved. I recommend this book to all readers who like adventure books.

Title: Once Upon a Curse
Author: E. D. Baker
Review:
I loved this book! I just piked it off of my shelf and started reading it. It pulled me in right away! I haven't read the previous books in the series, The Frog Princess, or the Dragon's Breath, but it still made lots of sense to me. I'm reading Dragon's Breath right now. Apparently I'm reading the series backwards. You could pick up any book in that trilogy and be into it immediately. If you're looking for a quick, funny, and interesting read, then read one of these books, they're awesome! Also, no one is too old or too young to read these books.

This book is GREAT and I think it is for everyone. All will enjoy it. It's about a kid and a juvenile delinquent of a brother named Byron, who have to go to their grandmother's house in Birmingham to drop off his big bro because he had been real bad, and that was his punishment. There is alot of other funny and exciting details about the book too, but I don't have time to name them all. I gotta write more reviews! :)

Title: The Spiderwick Chronicles
Author: Holy Black and Tony DiTerlizzi
Review:
These books are pretty darn good. However, you can tell that none of it is real because one, faeries are just not real, and two, most of the important facts the author(s) write about they forget. These books are okay and they are usually for low-level readers.

Title: White Fang
Author: Jack London
Review:
This book was pretty good. It was kinda slow at getting to the point like the other book, "Call of the Wild" though. Other than that it was great! I think it is only for advanced readers, not for beginners because the grammar is pretty advanced, and it is kinda boring if ya have a short attention span.

Title: Call of the Wild
Author: Jack London
Review:
I thought this book was okay. It was more of a journal than a book, and I thought that even though it was kind of short, the story took a long time to just get to the point. I think Jack London was a good writer, though. However, I did enjoy the violent action parts, though. I think his other book, "White Fang" was much better. Read my other review about that one.

Title: Warriors
Author: Erin Hunter
Review:
This book is very boring, and not very entertaining. I don't think it was very well written (this is only my opinion) and the plot, I think, is pointless. All it tells about is a big pointless war with a bunch of weird cats with wacky and pointless names. Just don't read it, okay? It might make you sick to your stomach. Hahaha! But I guess it's okay, I mean, I know MUCH worse... Then again, maybe I don't. :(
