The Ilwaco Library closed Friday, March 20, 2009 at 5pm to move from its
temporary location back to its home in the remodeled Ilwaco Community Building.
The Library will reopen on Monday, April 6, 2009.
The Ilwaco Community Building, which is the home of the Ilwaco Timberland
Library, has undergone major renovation. The demolition and construction projects started in March 2008. The renovated library
has
about 1,200 additional square feet for books and other library materials,
computers and comfortable reading areas. The Community Building also has a
community meeting room.

October 2008 -
The Ilwaco Community Building renovation project is moving right

lots of light.
