A while back, I had 23 teens show up for our program, “Pizza & Books”. It was a wild, at times loud and overall really exciting program. It was so cool to see so many new faces, hear about so many great books and have the “problem” of running out of pizza!
About a week or so later, one of the teens who attended the program came in and said to me, “Hey, you know that book Mason was talking about? The one with the green cover about the kid who’s a hacker?” “Oh, yeah! You mean, ‘Brain Jack’?” I said. “Yeah, that one... Well, I read it. It was pretty awesome but the ending sucked! It was all pretty exciting up till the end when it basically ended with him taking a nap.”
Hey, at least he read it!
