I debated on whether to go to my monthly TAC (Teen Advocacy Coalition) meeting, since the topic was specific to a program I was not going to be involved with. In the end I decided to attend. I got there just as the meeting was starting and several people called out to me that they were glad to see me. I felt silly since I could not contribute to the discussion. After the meeting ended one of the attendees asked me for an appointment to use the meeting room. She was trying to find a place where the teens from our 3 schools could meet and discuss suicide prevention. As soon as she saw me at the meeting she had the answer. She was so glad I came to the meeting. 25 kids piled into our meeting room and had an all day conference.
