Due to budget cuts at the Grays Harbor County Jail, the Monte library will no longer be delivering library materials to them via outreach. We have had this service in place for 12-15 years.
Last year we had the Ukelelians program, which was huge hit. A devoted library patron gave us a uke and the Friends of the Library purchased an instructional booklet and sheet music and exra strings and a snark ukulele tuner. So now we have a "kit" that can be checked out.
