Submitted by Alicia Conover: A patron walked into our library with a shoe box holding a tiny baby bat that she had found on her front porch. She was determined to help it survive but needed information about bats. She said she figured the library would provide her with help. While Evie connected her to the Grays Harbor Extension Office, Alicia looked up books on bats. She was able to read a little bit about the animals, got a number from the Extension Office, and went away with some knowledge to help her help the baby to survive. We are hoping to hear good news about her success.
