A parent told me that her family really enjoyed summer at the library this year. They would make a weekly visit to the library - to check out books and pick up the weekly reading incentive. She said that her children would be upset if they couldn't come each week. With a note of pride in her voice, the parent told me that her oldest boy read 14 books this summer.
