A City official stopped Christine on her way to work one day to tell her how he had located a piece of music at the University of North Texas. He called the University directly but they told him to contact his local library to borrow it. He said he had been trying for some time to find the sheet music for his mother in law. The music was "Will o' the Wisp" by Isidore Phillipp. The sister of another City employee who works in the library field was able to locate a copy at the University of North Texas. They emailed him a music clip to verify it was the right piece. Christine said that TRL interlibrary loans materials from other libraries for patrons all the time and that she would ask the library reference staff to look into it. Laura found the item listed under an alternate title, "Feux Follets," and made a call to the UNT to verify we had the right record. Interlibrary Loan picked it up from there and arranged for the loan. When the patron came to pick up the interlibrary loan, he was so delighted. While, talking about what it would mean to his mother-in-law to see the music again, he teared up. He explained his mother in-law had lost her copy in a fire and had only a scrap of the original music. That was enough to get us teared up too. Laura Young
